Sharm el Sheikh is located at the tip of the Sinai-peninsula. Weather conditions are excellent; the desert keeps the air dry and sunny days are nearly guaranteed year around. Red Sea waters are warm (at least 20 degrees Celcius) even during the winter months.

Sport activities are widely represented. Sharm el Sheikh is one of the world’s most famous destinations for snorkelling and scuba diving. Several well known dive sites are reached by day trips. Pleasant winds attract kite surfers and nearly all water sports activities are available. A world class golf course is located in the area.
Families enjoy the beach, water parks and go-carting. The desert offers its own, unique atmosphere; Bedouin dinners and camel riding as well as desert safaris attract visitors from all over the world.
Day trips to several famous locations in the area are available including: Cairo, St. Catherine’s Monastery and Mt. Moses, Coloured Canyon, Abu Galum and the Ras Mohammed National Park. Even Petra in Jordan and Jerusalem in Israel are accessible from here.
Sharm el Sheikh offers a variety of international cuisine restaurants for every taste and budget. Lounges and famous bars, Casinos as well as night life spots can be easily reached.
